Viva Las Vegas

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas except on my blog. Unlike the majority of the people that come to Vegas, we came to Sin City for a soccer tournament...the Vegas Cup. It's our first ever out of state tournament. The girls were bummed that Freddy (our coach) couldn't come, but they were super excited to go out of town! Our team is staying at the Santa Fe Station Hotel. They have a movie theater, bowling alley, arcade and food court. The service has been excellent and besides the smell of smoke, it has been great! We managed to get most of our rooms togther so the girls are having fun running back and forth from room to room. Today we had 2 games. We weren't really sure how we would stack up against some of the out of state teams, but we did well. We beat the first team, FC Vegas Copa, 4-1. Anna got a goal (woohoo) and CC got a hat trick! (That means 3 goals for some of you non sports people.) We played the Colorado Rush in the afternoon. We were tied 1-1 most of the game and then they got a last minute goal to beat us 2-1. Not too bad, but unfortunately not good enough. We are in 2nd place right now. We either need to win tomorrow or Colorado needs to lose for us to advance to the semi finals. It's going to take a miracle to make that happen though. We are playing the hardest team, San Diego Surf and CO plays Vegas, the easiest team. The good news is that miracles can happen. Look at the Cardinals! Maybe tomorrow will be Arizona's day. We will win and so will the Cards!
After the games we came back to the hotel and everyone went Cosmic bowling. It was a blast! Well...now it's curfew so I am going to go to bed. I will post an update tomorrow.

VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!!
