Ryan's parents came into town this past weekend and we took them hiking on Thunderbird Mountain. While we were stopped for a water break my father in law noticed a rock that was split. He lifted off the top of the rock and to his surprise found 2 dollar bills. RANDOM! One was almost completely disentegrated and the other was stiff and just about to fall apart. How crazy that on the whole mountain he found the rock that had money in it. Ryan thinks that maybe it was part of Geocashing. Geocaching is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache’s existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS unit can then try to locate the geocache. I don't know, but the bills had obviously been there a long time. My father in law put the money back under the rock just in case someone came looking for them.
