Dear Ma

Dear Ma,
We miss you and Pa and the rest of the Goebel clan in Indiana. Things are really busy here in Arizona. We know we haven't been the best at communicating, but we don't get a chance to slow down very often. Stacy has been trying to keep the blog updated as much as possible. Here is quick rundown on what we've been up to the last few weeks.

(Kayla playing in her soccer tournament this weekend.)

Kayla is running track at school right now. She made the varsity squad at her jr. high. Her first meet is on Thursday. She will be running the mile and the 200. Her best event is the mile and her best time is 6 min. and 2 sec. (That is a better time than some high schoolers.) She is still playing soccer and her team took 3rd in the tournament this past weekend. She is still as funny as ever, but I think she gets more blonde every day.

(Anna's team played a team from Canada this past weekend.)

Anna loves her new soccer team. The are really good. They just won the state league and are ranked 2nd in AZ and 96th in the nation. A few weekends ago they played in a national tournament and Anna scored 3 goals. They beat the #1 team in NM and the #1 team in Minnesota. This weekend they played a tournament in a 17 year old bracket and won! Anna is playing softball at school right now too, but doesn't like it very much. She says it is too boring.

(Ryan on his ride with the pastor from the church in San Luis.)

Ryan is as busy as ever. He did that 3 day bike ride to Mexico and had a blast. Your son is unbelieveable. He didn't even get his bike out until the day before the ride and did great! Some of the guys had been training for weeks! He was "promoted", so to speak,to ZONA camp director so he will be running the whole shebang for the state of AZ this summer. All 4 of the Goebels will be at youth camp this year.

Stacy has a new full time job as taxi driver. Luckily she got a new "taxi" to drive around in. It comes complete with a rear backup camera and butt warmers. She is also enjoying her nephew Griffey although she doesn't get to see him as much as she would like. She can't wait for spring break in Cali next week!

We hope that you are feeling much better. Please tell Pa and everyone hi for us. We are looking forward to seeing you this summer. Any ideas on what you want to do? We will talk to you soon. We love you!

Thanks for the update Stacy. I love getting any kind of news about you guys. I tried to leave a comment when you first told me about this, but could not get it to accept my comment. We need to talk about vacation sometime soon. Do you still want to go to Florida?
