Anna scored her first goal of her high school career last night. She started an 8-0 win against Shadow Mountain. 5 of the goals were made by freshman...WOOP WOOP! She was so excited that she scored the 1st goal for O'Connor this season! It was nice to be on the other end of a butt kicking. After the game Monday I was thinking it was going to be a LONG season, but the girls rebounded and played well on Tues. and Thus. It helped that some of the senior girls were back and healthy. The girls lost 2-0 on Tuesday, but played pretty well against a tough team, Arcadia. Anna has been starting at forward and playing the entire game. She loves her teammates. On Tuesday they all went out to dinner together and are planning a big slumber party next weekend. I think she is getting quite an education from the older girls, but I can't keep her in a bubble forever. They seem like nice girls, but there is a big difference between a 14 year old and an 18 year old. I won't let Anna ride with the seniors yet, but neither will her other freshman friends' parents so that helps. Here are some highlights from the last two nights.
