Ellie Kate

My heart is broken for my friends April and Matt as their sweet baby girl went home to be with Jesus yesterday morning. What a precious gift Ellie was. April and Matt will have a celebration of Ellie's life on Wednesday in Evansville. I wish so much I could attend, but the distance is just too great. They will be in my thoughts and prayers as they say goodbye to their 2nd baby girl.
Below is the obituary that will run in the paper this week.

Ellison “Ellie” Kate Hendricks was born on May 25, 2011 and went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2011 at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. She is the daughter of Matt and April Hendricks of Evansville. She was preceded to Heaven by her sister Madelynn “Maddy” Rose in March of 2010.

Ellie is survived by her grandparents Steve and Sandy Holzmeyer and Norm and Mona Hendricks of Evansville. She has one great grandpa, Richard Doan, of Newburgh, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private family graveside services will be performed Tuesday, August 30th at Park Lawn Cemetery in Evansville beginning at 2 p.m. Pastors Dale Beaver and Mike Thompson officiating. A worship service to our Savior and in memory of Ellie is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31st at Christian Fellowship Church located at 4100 Millersburg Road, Evansville IN 47725 beginning at 2 p.m. Family, friends and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend.
